Stick To The Ones Saying 'Hang In There' With A Cat Dangling From A Branch
-
Someone in a North Dakota state agency put up anti-Obama posters in the office at the State Capitol, and the posters were visible from the hallway. Needless to say, there's a flap. Yeah, the posters were probably inadvisable, and if you work for a state agency, you probably need to keep the politics quiet (even if the very act of getting your job there was heavily infused with politics). Is there a First Amendment argument here, or can your employer -- even if it's the state itself -- restrict what you say or post at the office? (WDAY-TV/Fargo; Thanks to Jim Walsh for the link)
