See, When We Say You're 'Six Nations,' We Don't REALLY Mean 'Nations'

A team of lacrosse players flying overseas to a tournament is stuck in limbo in New York, their passports refused. Why? Because they tried to fly with Iroquois passports. See, they're from Iroquois tribes in Canada and the U.S. and they were flying with tribal-issued passports, and the U.S. won't recognize them to allow them to return to the country, so Britain is refusing them entry, too. Isn't this something the tribe should have worked out in advance? I mean, sure, they have rights of self-determination, but you could see red tape coming with this one. (New York Daily News)
