Get Your Lying, Cheating Hands Off My Eyes
-
The alarming nature of this story is in the headline and first 90%: It says, point blank, that a lot of people who get into opthalmology school cheat and lie by fudging resume and application information, and that it's rampant across all medical disciplines. And then you get to the end and find that for opthalmolgists, the percentage of liars is the smallest in medicine, 8.1%, and the other studies range from 1% to 100%. There simply isn't solid information. One liar's too many, but should we be panicking? (Los Angeles Times)
