Cops in South Jersey are cracking down on cars not yielding to pedestrians in crosswalks. In many places, you're legally supposed to stop at the line when there's someone approaching the crosswalk. The stings involve planting someone there to pause at the curb and cops watching as cars plow through. You know, I've noticed while in Minneapolis that cars here DON'T yield to pedestrians, even when I'm in the crosswalk with the light. So maybe the cops SHOULD crack down.
