My Service Cat Makes Sure I Wake Up. At 1:30 am. And 2. And 2:30....

This guy has a "service snake." He says that the snake, a boa constrictor, should be allowed to go wherever he goes, because it knows when he's having a seizure and squeezes him to prevent it. And, right now, it IS a "service animal." But the DOJ is considering getting rid of protection for service animals who aren't trained and don't serve a direct, non-emotional purpose. So that "service ferret" you have because it helps when you feel lonely? In danger. Your helper monkey? Safe.
