Assuming, Of Course, That You COULD Retire If You Wanted To
-
Stan Chambers has been a newsman on KTLA/Los Angeles since 1947. That's not a typo. He started doing TV news shortly after the station launched as the first commercially-licensed TV station on the West Coast and has worked at the same station in the same job ever since, ultimately working alongside his grandson. And he's finally retiring at age 87. That's amazing, and it's also a topic: When is it time to hang 'em up? Are you the kind of person who will work until you can't work anymore? Are you the kind of person who can't wait until you don't have to work anymore, or the kind who won't know what to do with yourself if you're not working? (KTLA/Los Angeles)
