It's Not A Real Party Unless There's A Body Count

You may not be aware of it if you're from elsewhere, but for those in the Southwest, Lake Havasu City is kind of famous as where the kind of people who would jet ski drunk would go to party. And every year, about 10,000 people jump into inner tubes and on floats to drift all the way down the Colorado River from Bullhead City to Lake Havasu City in one big party of people with whom you'd never want to spend any time. This year, a guy jumped off a float without a life vest and drowned. Now, THAT'S a party. (AP via KOLD-TV/Tucson)
