Even As A Cartoon, Al Gore Isn't Animated

Here's this year's Beloit College cultural mindset list of what this year's incoming college freshmen know and don't know. It's all the usual stuff -- they've never worn a watch, can't write in cursive, Rodney King's beating predated them -- and it's also, as usual, filled with questionable stuff (they CAN write in cursive, they HAVE sent things via "snail mail," they ARE aware that Clint Eastwood was an actor as well as a director (um, "Gran Torino"?).
