Recently, we saw tht the Publix supermarket chain in Florida and Georgia is testing a drive-up service where you order online and they bring your order to the curb for you, for a price. In England, Tesco, the big supermarket operator, is testing drive-thru groceries -- same deal, you order up front, pay a fee, and they bring the stuff to the window for you. Now, if you live in some areas, there have always been drive-thru dairy stores, and those are basically convenience stores. And if you're in New Orleans, there are drive-thru liquor stores, which just seems like a bad idea. But, once again, would you pay for that convenience? (Daily Mail)
