Where Will We Go For Overpriced Candy, Rude Clerks, And Lousy Selection Now?
-
Blockbuster has informed the movie studios that it's preparing to file for bankruptcy in September. It's a pre-packaged Chapter 11 and it'll keep the chain in business for now, but is the day of the video rental store over? Personally, I can't even remember the last time I rented at Blockbuster; Redbox or on-demand have taken over, and Netflix streaming will be how we rent movies in the future. What would it take to get you back to the video store? (AP via Los Angeles Times)
