All They Have These Days Are 'Twilight' Books, Anyway

A lot of bookstores have closed, but this one really stings: It's the Barnes and Noble across from Lincoln Center, and it's closing due to rising rents. Or, more specifically, because business won't support higher rents. I noticed this the other day, a Saturday night at Borders in Torrance, which used to be busy with long lines at the cash register; now, the place wasn't busy and there was no queue at the registers. Are we seeing the end of the bookstore? (New York Times)
