Is It Murder When It's Done Out Of Love And/Or Self Defense?
-
It doesn't get much sadder than this story about a man, 88, whose wife, 87, had dementia. And he took care of her for years, until she started to get violent and hit him. Finally, he snapped and stabbed her to death, then calmly waited for police. Murder isn't condonable, but what can you do when you're a caregiver and the person you love is replaced by someone whose mind is gone and who poses a threat to you, too? (Philadelphia Inquirer)
