Dead: Soupy Sales. When I was 6, he was the hugest star in my world, up there with Sandy Becker and Chuck McCann. Local kiddie show hosts just ruled. Soupy was all about corny jokes and wacky stuff that flew way over my head but parents loved, too. They don't make TV like that anymore.
