Regard

Regard is the moniker used by Kosovo DJ/producer Dardan Aliu. Regard started his career in 2008, working from a small bedroom, with EDM being his primary focus, eventually branching out to Deep House grooves. 

 

He has remixed songs from artists as varied as Madonna, Coldplay and The Eagles. Regard cites Tiesto, Avicii, Michael Jackson and Elton John among his musical influences. 

 

"Ride It" is a remixed version of the 2008 single by Jay Sean, which was a global hit, but remained unknown in the U.S. except on Dance Radio, where it reached the Top 5. In the summer of 2019, Regard's House Remix of the track went viral on TikTok via the #Rideit Challenge, and eventually topped the Spotify Viral Chart. Users of the app have created more than 4.1 million videos using the song as a backing track.
