Flo Rida is known for hit songs such as "Low", featuring T-Pain, which was a number 1 hit for ten weeks in the United States in 2008, and "Right Round", featuring Ke$ha, which was a number 1 hit for six weeks; both songs broke the record for digital download sales when they were released. Other international hit singles he has had include "Club Can't Handle Me", "Good Feeling", "Wild Ones" and "Whistle". He has frequently collaborated with other artists, both on his and others' tracks. Hit songs by other artists on which he has appeared include "Running Back" by Jessica Mauboy, "Bad Boys" by Alexandra Burke and "Troublemaker" by Olly Murs. Flo Rida has released four albums so far: Mail on Sunday in 2008, R.O.O.T.S. in 2009, Only One Flo (Part 1) in 2010, and Wild Ones in 2012.
Flo Rida's fourth album, Wild Ones (originally titled Only One Rida (Part 2)) was released in July 2012. Its debut single was "Good Feeling", released on August 29, 2011.The song samples "Levels" by Avicii, which in turn samples Etta James' 1962 song, "Something's Got a Hold on Me". Following the death of Etta James on January 20, 2012, Flo Rida dedicated the song in her memory. The song peaked at No. 3 in the United States, and topped the charts in Austria, Germany, Scotland, and the UK. It reached the top five in nine other countries. The next two singles from the album were the title track, "Wild Ones", released in December 2011, and "Whistle", released April 2012. "Wild Ones" reached #1 in various countries, and hit #5 in the US, while "Whistle" reached #1 in 20 countries, including the United States.
Flo Rida reps for his hometown of Florida spending a cheerful day in Miami Beach in the official music video for "Let It Roll", the new single from his fourth studio album "Wild Ones". The song was written by Earl King, Mike Caren, soFLY & Nius, Flo Rida, Axwell, Breyan Isaac, Antonio Mobley and produced by soFLY & Nius and Axwell. Part two of the song features American rapper Lil Wayne and is featured on the soundtrack of the football video game FIFA 13. It was also performed on the 2012 edition of the WWE Tribute to the Troops event. The song samples a portion of Freddie King's "Let the Good Time Roll" (1974).
