Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" music video has arrived, and the second single from her upcoming "Bangerz" album has arguably a more provocative video than its predecessor, "We Can't Stop."
The video was released on September 9th, on VEVO. The video begins with a close-up of Cyrus standing in front of a completely white backdrop and crying while performing the song. The video also shows Cyrus sitting naked on top of a wrecking ball and licking a sledgehammer. 24 hours after its release, the video reached a peak of 19 million views with breaking VEVO record from One Direction for the second time.
This song seems to be a very personal one for the young singer, as she addresses love and heart break in a very passionate manner. It is a drastic departure from the happy-go-lucky content of We Can't Stop.
Cyrus confirmed that she will be hosting and performing on "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 5th, three days before the release of her fourth studio album, "Bangerz."
