Jan 18, 2015

On September 30th, the Swedish singer-songwriter, Tove Lo, released her debut album, Queen Of The Clouds via Island Records. The lead single from this collection is "Habits (Stay High)". Written right after she broke up with an ex, the song is a graphic depiction of Tove Lo's hedonistic attempts to get over him. Currently, "Habits", remixed by Hippie Sabotage, has over 65 million views on YouTube, and her other songs are on the rise as well.
Before Tove Lo released her own music, she wrote songs for a number of artists including Icona Pop, Cher Lloyd and Girls Aloud. She was also a member of the group, Tremblebee, before leaving to concentrate on a solo singing and songwriting career. In 2011 she collaborated with Max Martin and his songwriting team in writing songs. Tove Lo just wrapped up a tour with Katy Perry throughout Europe and Australia. Her latest single is entitled, "Talking Body."
