"Hearbeat Song" is pop singer-songwriter, Kelly Clarkson's latest song released. This up-tempo track is the singer's first since becoming a mother this past June. She recently revealed that the track's beat is "actually (her son's) River's heartbeat slowed down from when she was in my tummy!" "Heartbeat Song" was co-written by Clarkson's longtime collaborator and former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and produced by Greg Kurstin, who previously worked with Clarkson on her Grammy-nominated single "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)." Clarkson has announced that her seventh album will be titled Piece by Piece, and that it will arrive the first week of March via RCA Records.
In 2002, Kelly Clarkson rose to fame after winning the very first season of American Idol. Her debut single, "A Moment Like This", topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and broke the record for the biggest jump to number one in the chart's history; it became the best-selling single of the year in the country. She has gone on to accumulate ninety-one number ones on the Billboard charts and eleven international number one singles and has sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
