BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
- Afternoons at WSRG/ Sturgeon Bay, WI
- Weekends/Nights fill in at WNOU/Indianapolis, IN

- PD at WHPP/Fort Wayne, IN
1. What got you into radio?
I was lucky enough to grow up in the Chicago area and listen to B96 and other great stations in the early to mid 90's. I was also fortunate to go to a middle school that had a "Radio Club" and was able to put together a show every week that aired on the local college station at 4am. By the 7th grade, I knew I wanted to be in radio.
2. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Besides radio I wanted to be a professional golfer or a field goal kicker in the NFL (seriously)
3. What makes clickhop.com/WHPP different and special?
Clickhop.com is very unique. We are a Hip-Hop website that happens to also have an FM frequency in Fort Wayne, IN. We are also the only station in the world that uses the LDR (Listener Driven Radio) technology 24-7/365. Every song we play is chosen in real time by our audience.
4. You program a Hip Hop station and do afternoons on a Country station. What do you listen to in your leisure time?
I really don't want to be that guy that says "I listen to a little bit of everything"...but I guess I am that guy. I think part of the reason for that is I started a mobile DJ company when I was 12 years old so I had to learn and get familiar with different types of music at a young age.
5. If your boss, Phil Becker, was a college professor what course would he teach?
Phil wouldn't just be a professor; he would be the Dean of the College. I am so fortunate to be able to come to work every day and talk programming with him, he teaches me something every day. There is no way I would be where I am today as a programmer or air talent without his guidance. He is one of the smartest and creative people I have ever met.
6. What's your favorite song on the station right now?
"Clique" by Kanye West & Jay-Z. Two of the biggest artists in the format say the name of my station about 40 times AND it's a hit. I was like a little kid at Christmas when I first heard it.
7. Who's on your air staff at clickhop.com?
- Mornings- Nugget In the Morning (Nugget & his co-host Jes)
- Afternoons- Ice
- Nights- The Chi-nuh-man
8. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to go golfing (as much as my wife will let me). I'm also a huge sports fan and more specifically a Chicago sports fan. Bears, White Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks (damn lockout).
9. If you could be on any TV reality show or game show, which would you want to be on?
I always wanted to be on GUTS! I would have torn that mega-aggro-crag up!
10. Hypothetical question...If you were getting married this weekend and you could have any group or singer perform at your reception, who would you choose?
Michael Buble. I would forever be able to use the card with my wife "I got Michael Buble to perform at our wedding! Let me go golfing!" Also, that dude can sing and is absolutely hilarious.
Bonus Questions
Beer and pizza or sushi and sake?
Beer and pizza. I cannot stand any kind of seafood. On my honeymoon my wife made me try sushi and I nearly threw up on the couple sitting next to us.
Who will be THE story of the Oasis Christmas party?
In one way or another, all of us! We are very fortunate to work for a company that believes in live on air talent. Our cluster here in Fort Wayne has three stations and we have a total of eleven fulltime air personalities and three parttime personalities. Any time you get that many radio people in one room with alcohol, things are bound to get a little crazy.
