1. What got you into radio?

2. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I actually wanted to be a doctor. I love helping people. No one really knows this, but I actually have a degree in nursing!! Yes, I went to college!! LOL!! .
3. So how did you land the gig at KRYC Rhythm 105.9?
I was approached by one of the DJ's of the station I've known for awhile and he kept telling me you need to get back into radio. So, here I am!
4. What makes your market a good market for a Rhythm station?
We can give our local audience what they want to listen to based on their requests! I play records that are not even on most radio playlists. My vision for Rhythm 105.9 FM is to be the radio station that breaks new music first in our market.
5. What would probably surprise most people about Yuba City?
Yuba City has become a major market for radio due to the growth in population and increased number of schools and local businesses. Also, Sacramento is only a 30 minute drive away.
