1.What got you into radio?

I always loved radio and when I was going to college my R.A. (Gavin Spittle) recommended me for a Saturday and Sunday overnight shift at WRKO. Once I saw how much fun radio was I never turned back!! I have been working in this crazy industry ever since!!

2. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be the shortstop for the Oakland A's

3. You're not from Northern or Central California but you've embraced the area and your life there. What's your favorite thing about living and working in the Stockton area?

The people!! This is my home even though I wasn't born here! I have never received as much love anywhere I have lived like I have here!!

4. You've transitioned at KWIN through three owners. What has been most consistent thing through those transitions?

The staff really hasn't transitioned much and my duties have never changed! To be honest my job or the feel of KWIN hasn't changed at all in the 8 years I have worked here.

5. What would probably surprise most people about Stockton and Modesto?

The fact that you are an hour from the mountains and an hour from the ocean and there is some amazing fishing in the area!

6. We hear quite a bit about single mothers. You're a single father. What are some of the unique challenges and benefits of being a single father?

Well, I get about 5 hours asleep a night! I get up at 3:20 am and usually get home around 6 pm or later in time to make dinner! The great thing about being a single father is I get to make all the decisions when it comes to my children! I also have an amazing bond with them. Sometimes it is overwhelming with their activities and getting them everywhere on time but somehow, some way, it always works out.

7. If you weren't in radio, what do you think you'd be doing professionally?

I would be a teacher. I love working with and mentoring children.

8. What do you like to do in your spare time?

I speak at schools in the area and I also work at one. I am involved in both of my son's football teams and we go to Raiders games. We are season ticket holders and I love to hang out in SF whenever I can.

9. If you could be on any TV reality show or game show, which would you want to be on?

Jeopardy! I know sooooo much useless information I know I would win big money!

10. If your longtime KWIN Morning Block Party partner, Amanda were going to reveal one significant secret about you, what do you think it would be?

That I listen to Barry Manilow.

If you had to eat one type of meal every day for a month, what would it be?

Steak. I LOVE meat and protein.
