BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:

Been with KOHT (Hot 98.3) my entire radio career.

1. What got you into radio?

Music and the love for DJing

2. What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?

Basketball player but I was too short!

3. At what point in your career did you start thinking about getting into programming?

Once I made it on air I was curious about music scheduling and the behind the scenes details of how radio operated.

4. Who were some of your radio mentors?

Chico Rico, Fred Rico, Tim Richards , Chris Pickett and so many others. There are too many to mention all of them but they all helped me at some point in my career.

5. What would probably surprise most people about Tucson?

It gets cold and it can snow here.

6. The University Of Arizona and its campus is a big part of Tucson. Do you like the vibe that a big campus brings to a market and your particularly?

The University of Arizona brings a huge vibe to the city. Once the kids leave for summer vacation it almost feels like a ghost town but when school is in session it's a lot of fun downtown at the bars, clubs, etc.

7. What's your favorite song on the station right now?

Weeknd and Kendrick "Pray For Me"

8. If you weren't in radio, what do you think you'd be doing professionally?

I'd be doing social work counseling teenagers.

9. We know radio keeps you very busy but what do you like to do in spare time you have?

Get into a good basketball or tennis match. I also love to spend time with the family.

10. If you could be on any TV reality show or game show, which would you want to be on?

American Ninja Warrior even though I would probably lose on the first obstacle. I'd still like to try it out. lol

If you had to eat one type of meal everyday for a month, what would it be?

I have to go with Mexican. We have the best here in Tucson.
