I'd like to be even better with my social media content. It was a goal of mine at the beginning of 2022, and I want to continue it and grow it even more.-
BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
I started out as an intern at KBOS (B95)and eventually got hired to be on-air on the weekends. Then I landed the night show and became the number one night show in the market. During that time, I also did some weekend shifts at KYLD (WiLD 94.9). Fast forward a few years and I moved to afternoons and also became the Imaging Director. Currently, I have the number one afternoon show in the market on B95. I also do overnights on six other stations across the country. I also do voice overs for KRRL (Real 92.3) in Los Angeles.
1. What got you into radio?
I would say music. I have always loved music and when I became an intern and learned about the industry, I fell in love with it. That's when I realized this is what I wanted to do.
2. What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?
When I was a kid, I always wanted to be a business owner. I thought it was so cool to own your own business and be your own boss. I never knew exactly what business I wanted to own but I knew I wanted to be an owner of something.

4. What's the best and worst of being on the air in your hometown?
The best part is that I get to be on the radio station that I grew up listening to. The worst part…I'm not sure there is a worst part, other than Fresno being a mid-market.
5. What would probably surprise most people about living and working in Fresno?
That's there's a lot more to it than people think. We do have our own culture here, but many people choose to not embrace it. We are In the middle of the best state in the country. Not too far from LA or the Bay.
6. If you weren't in radio, what do you think you'd be doing professionally?
I think I would be in the TV/Film industry. Not sure exactly what I would be doing but that's an industry that has always been interesting to me. Not to mention I'm a big movie lover.

I'm a big collector. I collect a lot of Star Wars figures and other pop culture collectibles.
8. If you could be on any TV reality show or game show, which would you want to be on?
I would love to be on the Price is Right. It's something that I grew up watching all the time with my mom. I think I'd be decent at it.
9. I have heard that you're a big Star Wars fan. Favorite movie and favorite character?
Favorite movie would have to be The Empire Strikes Back. I mean that's the movie we find out that Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father. Favorite character would be Luke Skywalker. He was the embodiment of a hero, and he was one of the most skilled Jedi. Not to mention, he fought off the temptation of turning to the dark side. He was very strong-willed.
10. Who were/are some of your mentors, both in radio and outside of radio?
In radio, one would be John Magic. He was the first person to have me run his boards and he put me on his night show as a sidekick. He taught me a lot about being a great on-air personality. I would also say the late Tony Banks. He took my skills to another level and taught me what it takes to be in a big market. And finally, my dad, this man is the reason why I'm where I'm at in my career. He always told me, "No matter what you do, work hard at it."
