BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
I graduated from Winston-Salem State University in May 1995 with by BA in mass communications. I worked at WSNC while I was in school.
I came to WJMH in 1995 and worked in the promotions department as street coordinator. I did parttime doing mix shows and overnights.
I went to WJWJ with consultant Michael Newman and PD D-Rock in 1999 to 2000.
In 2000 I did nights at WJMH and then I moved to MD/afternoons in 2001 and got my APD stripes in 2007.
1. What got you interested/started in Radio?
My love for music and it felt like a great way to meet women.
2. You've done afternoons at Jamz for quite awhile now. Ever think about a move to another shift?
I think everyone dreams of doing a real legendary morning show.
3. Rhythm radio today has quite a Pop feel to it. Jamz has a rather unique position among Rhythmic radio today as a Hip Hop station. As the Music Director, is it more difficult finding the right mix of Hip Hop and R&B now?"

4. What's the highlight of your radio career to date?
It has to be my interview with then Sen. Obama during the NC primary.
5. Think about yourself when you first landed the MD gig at Jamz. How have you most changed as a programmer?
I think I'm more open minded to music and artists that are not to my personal interest but are interesting to our listeners.
6. You go on a vacation and "disaster" strikes. You are stranded on a deserted island with one actress, singer or reality TV star. Who would you like them to be?

7. Personally, who is your "go to" artist when you need to listen to music to chill?
I got to go with old soul, LTD, Bob Marley, etc
8. What's your dream radio market?
Wherever I can work and make a good living! (lol)
9. Facebook has been monsterous in reuniting old "friends". Should Facebook add a "Deny" button on Friend Requests?
HELL YEAH!
10. If you were to leave Radio today and you could choose any other occupation, what would it be?
I'd be a manager for a hit artist or entertainer.
