BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:

WRPS/POTSDAM, NY - KBXX/HOUSTON - KTFM/SAN ANTONIO - KXHT/MEMPHIS

1. What excites you about coming to work in the morning?

Actually, the fact that I'm employed excites me. With so many of our old music biz friends out of the business we should all be excited to be working.

2. Why Radio?

The challenge of picking a record no one believes in and watching it skyrocket to the top of the charts is just too much fun. Oh and the phone calls at 2 am when a jock is sick and can't work... Priceless!

3. You're in a city that has such a rich, musical history. Does that stay in the back of your mind as you program the station?

Years ago yes, now not so much. The mid-south now has so many people from all over the country, (thanks to FedEx, and other corporate companies setting up shop here) that is one of the reasons you may have noticed a slight change in our station.

4. What's your favorite song on the station today?

Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On

5. Are there any other radio formats you'd like to program?

My love for all music and my ability to feel listeners out... yes... get ready... Country, Latin, Urban AC, Sports, Talk, anything that would present a challenge.

6. Who's your oldest friend in Radio or music?

Robert Scorpio (he was old to me back when we were at KBXX, I think he went to school with Larry King, not sure.

7. If you were getting married tomorrow, who would you want to perform at your reception?

Miguel for my english peeps (the kid has chops) and for my latinos... Marc Anthony (No J-Lo)

8. It's 11:45 on SATURDAY night in Memphis. Where do we go to find you?

At home with the family (unless like I said before... the phones rings... damn jocks)

9. What do you consider to be your strength as a programmer?

The ability to bring programming, sales, and promotions together as one unit with the understanding that if one of us fails... WE ALL DO!

10. What movie have you watched more than any other?

The Godfather

If you were playing a drinking game and had to pick a teammate from the record industry, who would you want on your team?
