Lady Gaga

Is pop's current queen just a cowgirl at heart?
With her second studio album due for release in May, Lady Gaga is crossing genres with a "Country Road Version" of her hit "Born This Way," which she debuted via Twitter last month.
The remix, co-produced by Gaga with Fernando Garibay, turns a club-ready beat into a more stripped-down, drawled-out ballad, and, in true Gaga fashion, she even takes a break from the usual routine with one new verse: "If we want it make it country, baby, it's okay/'cause I was born, I was born, I was born this way/from London, Paris, Japan, back to U.S.A/I was born on the road, I was born to be brave."
With a few harmonica touches, the reborn, country-fied tune goes where Gaga, has never gone before, not an easy feat for the pop star known for her off-the-chart antics. And while pop and country are no strangers in the music industry, think Taylor Swift, LeAnn Rimes, we don't know if we'll ever adjust to seeing Gaga sporting cowgirl boots.
