Iffy The Bad Man
Aug 15, 2011
iFFY was born in Miami to a Laotian mother and Italian father and began his music education the old fashioned way, soaking up the sounds of early 90s' alternative rock from his older brother. Upon moving to East Harlem, iFFY learned the music of Harlem's streets; the Diplomats and the hero of Harlem hip-hop Cam'ron. It is this amalgamation of musical influences, plus a newfound love of the echoing, melancholic harmonies of the Beach Boys, which can be heard which can be heard on iFFY's expressly made for the summertime jam, "Do You".
Written during the end of a romantic relationship by iFFY, and produced by Bryan Fryzel, aka Frequency, "Do You" evokes the heartbreak of young love gone awry on the summer streets and is currently impacting radio.
