The Lone Bellow
Feb 10, 2020

Brooklyn-based The Lone Bellow -- Zach Williams (guitar, lead vocals), Kanene Donehey Pipkin (mandolin, bass, keyboard, vocals) and Brian Elmquist (guitar, vocals) – have been a mainstay at Triple A radio since they debuted in 2012. The trio has just released their fourth studio album. “Half Moon Light.
The new album marks a return to recording with producer Aaron Dessner in his studio in Upstate New York. In addition to the collaborating with the three principals, Dessner brought in the musicians Josh Kaufman and J.T. Bates, among others, to help round out the sound of this new collection of songs. In addition to “Count On Me,” check out “I Can Feel You Dancing,” “Just Enough To Get By,” “Illegal Immigrant,” “Enemies” and “Friends.”
“We try to invite as many people into the process to see what we can make together,” Elmquist says. “I like that spirit and that freedom. Then, the songs speak for themselves.”
