Coldplay - Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion -- has just released their seventh album, A Head Full Of Dreams, to worldwide anticipation.
The project was produced by Norwegian duo Stargate together with the band's long-time collaborator Rik Simpson. It features more guests than any previous Coldplay album, with Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton among those appearing.
In addition to "Adventure Of A Lifetime," check out "Birds," "Everglow," "Fun (f. Tove Lo)," "Army Of One" and "Amazing Day."
In an interview earlier this year, Martin said, "Music for me is a real catharsis and I think the fact that I can express myself allows me to enjoy the lightness of things. I do have happier music, but I think Coldplay's songs have a tension between them. You could hear them as sad or you could hear them as uplifting, depending on your mood."
It was just announced that Coldplay will headline the prestigious Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on February 7th, 2016. For the album release they appeared on "Ellen" and "The Late Late Show with James Corden."
Coldplay will tour extensively in 2016 in support of A Head Full Of Dreams, beginning with a run of stadium shows in Latin America and Europe. News of North American dates will follow soon.
