Jamie Foxx has a ball on his fourth album Best Night of My Life, (released December, 2010) the follow-up to 2008's platinum Intuition. Featuring guest appearances from Drake, T.I., Justin Timberlake, Rick Ross, Rico Love, Ludacris, and Soulja Boy, the LP is heavily steeped in love, touting upbeat fare for the clubs and sultry ballads about romancing the ladies. Essentially, the soundtrack to a stage play called Best Night Of My Life featuring Jamie Foxx and friends.
The single, "Best Night of My Life" featuring Wiz Khalifa, now impacting Urban and was produced by Eric Hudson. The optimistic tune, accented by finger snaps, light piano chords, and tinny instrumentation, features the Grammy winner crooning about wanting to take a girl back to the crib for a romantic moment.
Foxx started his musical career in church choirs and ended up a Grammy winner with multiple number one singles and millions of albums sold. Foxx started his acting career as a comedian and ended up the only actor besides Al Pacino to be nominated for two different Oscars in the same year.
