Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown, born in 1989, is a singer-songwriter, dancer and actor. In late 2005, he made his recording debut with the self-titled album Chris Brown at only 16 years old. The album featured the single "Run It!", which topped the Billboard Hot 100, making Brown the first male artist to have his debut single top the chart since Puff Daddy in 1997. He then went on to release the album Exclusive, which had the hits, "Kiss Kiss" and "With You", which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Next came, The Forever Edition and the first single from this one was "Forever" and it reached number two on Billboard Hot 100. The third studio album, titled Graffiti, was released on December 15, 2009. The first official single was "I Can Transform Ya", which peaked at number twenty on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Brown's eighth Top 20 hit on that chart. Brown's fourth studio album F.A.M.E. was first released in March 2011. This album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 270,000 copies, giving Brown his first number-one album in the United States.
Chris Brown will release his fifth studio album Fortune in March 2012. The first single off it, "Strip", featuring Kevin McCall, was released as the album's buzz song on November 18th, 2011. "Strip" has so far charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. At its peak, the track has ranked number forty-two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number ten on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
