Daley
Jan 13, 2013

A buzzmaking soul/R&B singer hailing from the other side of the Atlantic, Daley makes his first foray with newly-selected lead EP single Alone Together. Originally released in February along with its official visuals, the record comes backed by the lush yet understated production of Canei Finch.
The UK crooner turns in a passionate performance, exhibiting a strong falsetto delivery in his romantically-conflicted and engaging in some dazzling harmonies with his guest collaborator, Floetry alumnus Marsha Ambrosius, at the cut's climax.
Daley began as an independent artist in the industry, building a reputation for himself by showcasing his melodic vocal style, flair for songwriting and vocal arrangement with a number of small gigs in and around the United Kingdom. In October 2010, he received his mainstream breakthrough when he became the guest vocalist on the top forty Gorillaz hit, "Doncamatic".
Over the course of the year, Daley has toured parts of the United States, selling out SOB's in New York, and supported the likes of Emeli Sande, Maverick Sabre, Jessie J and Gorillaz collaborator and soul legend Bobby Womack on tour dates around the UK, culminating in his sold-out headline show at KOKO in London on November 20. In an interview with Digital Spy on November 23, Daley confirmed that the album had been completed, and that it was slated for release in either February or March 2013. On January 4th, the album's title was confirmed to be Days and Nights.
