Delilah inherited her gift of music from her Gypsy parents, who immersed her in performing from an early age. Touring as young child across continental Europe, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom and Eastern Europe, Delilah was immersed in Gypsy folklore and traditional Roma music.
By the age of 10, she was singing and dancing with her family in a 20-member touring ensemble with one of Hungary's noted Roma performers. By the time she was 16, she and her older brother Paul Lakatos, a guitar virtuoso, were performing with local musicians, who jammed regularly with her father and family at impromptu gatherings in her home.
Currently, Delilah is choosing new music and making plans for her next album. The chance to work on these four songs with the legendary Jim Peterik
was been an incredible adventure for this artist.
