Josh Krajcik
Feb 3, 2013
Right after performing as a guest on The X Factor back on November 29th last year, American singer-songwriter Joshua Andrew "Josh" Krajcik released a 4-song EP on iTunes. He sang his hit "One Thing She'll Never Know" on the show and he will be releasing a full length album later this spring via publishing giant BMG. The song features a lush string ensemble that perfectly accompanies and compliments Krajcik's soulful vocals.
"I always remember being a child and feeling that first moment of love," he told The Hollywood Reporter after the show regarding his first single off the album, "One Thing She'll Never Know".
Back in 2011, Krajcik was the runner-up in the first season of The X Factor and this quickly catapulted his music career. He quickly began working on his album and touring regionally in the midwest. Recording for the album took place between Los Angeles and London. Throughout the recording process Josh worked with producers Eg White, Steve Robson, Steve Kipner, Andrew Frampton, and more. He continued to play sold-out shows throughout the midwest while the album was mixed and mastered.
"Creatively, this year has been amazing," Krajcik explained. "I've worked with some great producers and everybody got my vision. We got to the place I wanted to be and I'm really excited about it. The thing that's really important for me is that the music's got to feel real. I have to talk about things that I don't necessarily know about, but I feel. I like to write from an emotional standpoint -- less of a storyteller."
