GEORGE STRAIT’S NEWEST SINGLE “HERE FOR A GOOD TIME” HERE DIGITAL
George Strait’s newest hit single “Here For A Good Time,” is already sitting at No. 20 on the Billboard country singles chart after only three weeks, and is available now at all digital retailers. The single was his highest debut since his 2008 smash “I Saw God Today” and was the most added single at radio for two straight weeks.

Taylor Swift this week celebrates her 8th #1 record, as “Mean,” the third single from her Triple-Platinum-plus Speak Now album, tops the Mediabase / Country Aircheck Country Singles Chart, becoming her 3rd consecutive #1 song from the album (released on Big Machine Records). “Mean” also holds the #1 video slots at both at CMT (2 weeks) and GAC (3 weeks).

Taylor played to over 110,000 fans at Boston’s Gillette Stadium over the weekend, with her two back-to-back sold-out shows capping the first month of the North American leg of the SPEAK NOW World Tour.
On Saturday, the Boston night skies opened and Taylor played the second half of that night’s show in the pouring rain, soaking wet. Midway through “You Belong With Me” the light rain became a downpour, but Taylor (the first and only female artist to ever sell out Gillette) never missed a beat, getting soaked to the skin but continuing the outdoor show as 55,000 drenched fans sang along with her.

CMT and CMT.com will host the exclusive world premiere of Rascal Flatts’ new video “Easy” from their Big Machine Records release Nothing Like This on Friday, July 1 at 10:45 a.m. ET, featuring special guest Natasha Bedingfield. As part of the premiere, CMT will debut a 15-minute special CMT PREMIERES: RASCAL FLATTS FEAT. NATASHA BEDINGFIELD “EASY,” which includes interviews with the band and behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot.
“Easy” will premiere across CMT’s multiple properties including CMT, CMT.com, CMT Pure and the network’s new social media game, CMT Platinum Life: Country. “CRAZY GIRL” TRACKS OVER 2 MILLION VIEWS ONLINE
Republic Nashville artist, the Eli Young Band goes live with the “Crazy Girl” Youtube cover song contest. With over 2 million views of the “Crazy Girl” video online and over 400,000 downloads of the single sold, the song and its video are turning into an internet sensation.
Fans are going crazy for “Crazy Girl.” Prior to announcing the contest 122 Cover Song Videos had already been posted by fans on Youtube, with a cumulative of 156,000 views of those covers.
The single made it’s debut at #1 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart and has sold an average of 25,000 downloads a week, every week for over three months. Last week alone “Crazy Girl” sold over 32,000 downloads and has consistantly outsold 75 % of the songs on the country radio chart. RANDY MONTANA DEBUTS
Mercury Nashville will release singer/songwriter Randy Montana’s self-titled debut album on July 26 to all digital retailers. RONNIE MILSAP RETURNS TO HIS COUNTRY ROOTS WITH NEW ALBUM, COUNTRY AGAIN
On July 26, country music legend, Ronnie Milsap released his first country album in five years, Country Again. This new 12-track release launches this summer with the first single “If You Don’t Want Me To”, also known as “The Freeze”. Country Again is a joint venture between Milsap Music Group and Bigger Picture Group. With over 40 #1 Hits to his credit, Milsap is ready for more, “I’ve been very fortunate to have had a lot of successful records. Now it’s time to make some more.”
The first single, “If You Don’t Want Me To (The Freeze)”, hits radio July 18th. JaneDear girls are calling shotgun this Friday, July 1 as they take the stage at the Grand Ole Opry for the second time. Their Opry performance will include their current rising up-tempo single, “Shotgun Girl,” which continues to climb the Country charts. the JaneDear girls join Darius Rucker, Marty Stuart, The Isaacs, Ricky Skaggs and more in the line-up for Friday’s show.
