KATY PERRY was the big winner last night at THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS, being recognized with five trophies including favorite female artist, tour headliner, song of the year for "E.T." with KANYE WEST, music video for "Last Friday Night" and TV guest star for "How I Met Your Mother."

Unfortunately, PERRY wasn't on hand to accept the awards.

PERRY tweeted earlier in the week that she wouldn't make it to the show but that "I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed!"

PERRY hasn't been seen in public since her split with RUSSELL BRAND after 14 months of marriage.
