Facebook Debuts 'Listen With Friends' Feature

Listening to music has just gotten even more social as FACEBOOK has announced the "Listen With" button in FACEBOOK CHAT. Over the next few weeks, the "Listen With Friends" feature will start rolling out to all of FACEBOOK's 800 million users. SPOTIFY and RDIO are the only two music services that support this for now.

A FACEBOOK spokesperson said, "Music is one of the most powerful and fun ways to connect. Whether it's at a concert with a bunch of people or on a long car ride with your best buddy, we love listening to music with our friends. We hope you enjoy listening with friends!"

How It Works

When your friends are listening to music, you'll see a music note next to your friends in the chat sidebar. You and your friends can also chat about music as you're listening and other people can join in too. But, if you're not into just anyone jumping in your party, you can control who goes there.
