SARAH FRAZIER has been promoted to SVP/Market Manager, CBS RADIO/HOUSTON, it was announced today by CBS RADIO Pres./CEO DAN MASON. FRAZIER, who has been in the radio industry for nearly 15 years, most recently served as VP/Dir. Sales for the HOUSTON cluster since 2009. In her new role, FRAZIER will have oversight and day-to-day responsibility for the management of CBS RADIO’s six stations in the market, including Hot AC KHMX, Talk KIKK-A, Sports KILT-A, Country KILT, Top 40 KKHH and Spanish KLOL.
FRAZIER succeeds BRIAN PURDY, who has had a unique dual role managing CBS RADIO’s HOUSTON and DALLAS clusters. Moving forward, he will focus his effective strategic leadership on the country's fifth largest radio market.
"SARAH has a winning attitude that has helped her adapt to a variety of different situations and roles within CBS RADIO, and I have confidence she will continue to make smart and result-driven decisions to move our HOUSTON cluster forward," said MASON. "SARAH has helped deliver strong revenue growth during her tenure, as well as created a number of successful marketing initiatives. Working alongside a proven leader in BRIAN PURDY, she has gained valuable insight into the position and the necessary experience to take on this elevated role."
"In BRIAN we have a proven authority in the radio business with a long list of achievements in sales, programming and community service," added MASON. "He has put in place a team of highly motivated employees in HOUSTON and leaves this market in a much more competitive position than when he joined. I look forward to even better things to come in DALLAS."
