AJ McGuire Joins WWKA For Mornings

COX RADIO Country WWKA (K92)/ORLANDO has announced the addition of AJ MAGUIRE as morning host. AJ comes to WWKA from OASIS RADIO Country WBTU (US 93.3)/FORT WAYNE, where he was morning host and APD. He has also made stops at CLEAR CHANNEL Country KSWF/SPRINGFIELD, MO, SIMMONS MEDIA Country KEGA/SALT LAKE CITY, ENTERCOM Country KWJJ/PORTLAND, OR and CUMULUS Country KPLX/DALLAS.

“This is such a great fit for AJ and K92FM,” said OM of COX MEDIA GROUP, ORLANDO LEN SHACKELFORD. “AJ brings energy, knowledge and passion to mornings. We’ve been looking for some time to find the right person to lead our morning show, and I’m pleased to say that our patience has paid off.”

AJ will join GRACE SANCHEZ in mornings, who has been with K92FM for the last four years. 

Back at WBTU, DAVID GOODE, formerly of GREAT NORTHERN BROADCASTING Country WLDR (SUNNY COUNTRY 101.9)/TRAVERSE CITY, MI, and WBTU PD CHARLOTTE BURKE are teaming up for mornings. BURKE tells ALL ACCESS that they are not currently looking to fill the APD position. However, WBTU is seeking an evening personality.
