In JANUARY 2010 (NET NEWS 1/13/10), Police shot a gunman who walked into the offices of RENDA AC KBEZ and Top 40 KHTT, and demanded to speak to KBEZ morning radio personality CARLY RUSH.
After a lengthy delay because of his mental health issues, BARRY EMERY STYLES pleaded guilty MONDAY to charges of using a gun to threaten employees at those TULSA radio stations.
TULSAWORLD.COM reports "STYLES waived his right to a trial and pleaded guilty to five felony counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. The charges involve five victims, records show. A plea agreement calls for a 15-year sentence. The Department of Corrections will prepare a sentencing background report."
