Former EMF BROADCASTING CEO DICK JENKINS has accepted a position as the Network GM of the IMMACULATE HEART RADIO (IHR) NETWORK. IHR is one of the largest Catholic broadcast networks in the country with 25 AM/FM signals in five western states.
"I am excited to have DICK JENKINS helping to lead and expand our ministry. DICK brings over 35 years of broadcast experience and has already demonstrated a unique gift in increasing both listenership and donor revenue, while at the same time assisting us in acquiring new stations," said IHR Pres./Founder DOUG SHERMAN.
While serving as IHR Network GM, JENKINS will also provide consulting services to a select group of Christian radio clients on a part-time basis.
In announcing his new role, JENKINS also noted that his long-time former Director of Strategic Analysis at EMF, FRANK KAVENIK has also joined IHR as Director of Research and Planning.
As part of the network growth plan, IHR recently launched a new station in MONTEREY, CA and plans to add an additional station in SAN DIEGO to the network in early MARCH.
