ENTERCOM AC KOIT had a stellar holiday book taking over the #1 (8.2 share) slot P6+ and posting growth of 28% and higher in multiple demos (P18-34, P18-49, P25-54 & P35-64). CBS RADIO News KCBS-A saw slight share loss but maintained its second-place rank (6.0, down from 6.5 in DEC). SAN FRAN’s PUBLIC MEDIA Talk KQED-F fell to third with a 5.9 share. CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Rhythmic KYLD remained unchanged (4.6 share, fourth).

CBS RADIO AC KVIL rode its holiday playlist to the top of most demos for the Holiday survey period. The station finished #1 P6+ with a 7.4 share. CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KHKS settled for #2 and a 6.4 share. UNIVISION Regional Mexican KLNO held onto #3 for its third month(4.4) CUMULUS Country KPLX found itself tied for 4th with SALEM Contemporary Christian KLTY each with a 4.3.

KODA Mirrors December To Stay #1

CLEAR CHANNEL AC KODA/HOUSTON turned in mirror-image growth to DECEMBER (24.8%) to maintain another month at #1 P6+. RADIO ONE Top 40/Rhythmic KBXX wrapped up the holiday survey down slightly at 7.0, but was still the #2 in the market. RADIO ONE Urban AC KMJQ stayed at 3rd with slight growth (up two-tenths to a 5.9 share). EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION Contemporary Christian KSBJ grew (13.6%, 5.0 share) over DECEMBER, moving from #7 to #4 and bumping UNIVISION Regional Mexican KLTN to 5th and a 4.8 share.

WBEB Feels The Love In Philly

WEAZ AC WBEB grew +40% over DECEMBER to defend its #1 crown with authority. WBEB finished the book with a 15.3 share P6+ and also owned the top rank in P18-34, P18-49, P25-54 and P35-64. CBS RADIO News KYW-A dipped to a 6.7 share but remained #2. CLEAR CHANNEL Urban AC WDAS gained points over DECEMBER(turning in a 5.9) to hold its 3rd place position. GREATER MEDIA Rock WMMR was bumped to 5th (4.6) by CBS Oldies WOGL (5.5 share, 4th).

D.C. A WASH In Holiday Spirit

CLEAR CHANNEL AC WASH brought home an 11.7 for the holidays to finish 1st in the market and tack on 39% to its lead of DECEMBER. HUBBARD News WTOP held its own during the period to prolong its stint at #2 (6.7 share). CHANNEL Top 40 WIHT looked much the same as it did in DECEMBER (6.1 share) to hang in at #3. HOWARD UNIVERSITY Urban AC WHUR moved to 4th (5.5 share).
