ALL ACCESS is shocked and saddened to report that former long-time ENTERCOM Alternative KNRK/PORTLAND, OR MD/night-timer JAIME COOLEY died this past SATURDAY (2/4).
COOLEY started working at KNRK when she was 17 years old and spent over 13 years at the station before losing her job to the ENTERCOM layoffs four years ago. She most recently had a brief stint co-hosting mornings at now defunct RIVIERA Alternative KEDJ (THE EDGE).
COOLEY was just one month shy of turning 34. Our thoughts go out to her family and friends.
According to the PORTLAND MERCURY, COOLEY died in a tragic drowning accident. A public memorial has been set for FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10th from 5-8p at LOLA’S ROOM at 1332 West Burnside Street in PORTLAND, OR.
Donations in her name can be made to the PACIFIC PUG RESCUE: P.O. Box 820032, PORTLAND, OR 97282-1032
