Sean Demery Appointed PD/Brand Mgr. Of X96/Salt Lake City

SIMMONS MEDIA Alternative KXRK (X96)/SALT LAKE CITY names SEAN DEMERY as PD/Brand Manager. DEMERY had been Acting PD since TODD NUKE'EM exited in DECEMBER (NET NEWS 12/16/11).

DEMERY most recently hosted mornings at ENTERCOM AAA KMTT (THE MOUNTAIN)/SEATTLE and had recently been doing consulting work. He is most notably known for his time at CUMULUS Alternative WNNX (99X)/ATLANTA and CBS Alternative KITS (LIVE 105)/SAN FRANCISCO.

SIMMONS MEDIA VP/Programming ALAN HAGUE said, "SEAN, a 25-year radio veteran has programmed Alternative stations in ATLANTA AND SAN FRANCISCO. He has won national awards for PD of the year and Air Personality of the Year. He has been an air talent as well in SEATTLE, LOS ANGELES and SAN ANTONIO. SEAN actually programmed in SALT LAKE CITY many years ago when his career was beginning at the old KLRZ. We are excited to have SEAN join us and look forward to having him lead the X96 brand."
