CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KIIS/LOS ANGELES has laid off COMMANDER CHUCK STREET, who has been providing airborne traffic reports for the station for 28 years, reports GARY LYCAN in the OC REGISTER.
He had been moved to reporting from the ground JANUARY 9th pending a sponsor deal to continue his airborne reporting.
When the sponsorship with PEPSI wasn't renewed, the station laid STREET off on FEBRUARY 3rd.
