The FCC has proposed a $10,000 fine against L.R. RADIO GROUP for public file violations at Talk KPIR-A/GRANBURY, TX. The station had no issues/programs lists, service contour map, ownership reports, or the most recent Public and Broadcasting brochure as required.
The Commission has also proposed a $10,000 fine against KM RADIO OF INDEPENDENCE, LLC for tower, EAS, power level, and public file violations at Sports KQMG-A and Classic Hits KQMG-F (BRITE 95.3)/INDEPENDENCE, IA. The FM was allegedly running over its licensed power, tower lights was not working execpt for one non-flashing red beacon, the public file had no issues/programs lists after 2001, and there were no logs showing EAS tests, with only one being done since 2010 and an attempt to send a test failing.
