TRIAD BROADCASTING Country WUBB (BOB 106.9)/SAVANNAH, GA morning hosts TIM LEARY and MALAYNA KERTON from the "MORNING SHOWGRAM," came to the rescue, to help find a missing boy.
LEARY tells ALL ACCESS that he and MALAYNA alerted listeners to a story of a missing 12 year old boy from RICHMOND HILL, GA, who had been missing since TUESDAY night (2/7). Search efforts by police included K-9 units and helicopter patrol.
Before the end of the show, the two radio hosts received a call from two of their listeners, who informed them that they found the boy as they were coming off an interstate. They thought it was the missing child, as they were listening to LEARY and KERTON with updates.
“RICHMOND HILL police picked up the boy who was cold, but otherwise appeared to be fine,” said LEARY.
