THOMAS B. DANIELS's 98.9, INC. is selling Classic Hits WWIK (98.9 FUN FM)/MCCLELLANVILLE-CHARLESTON, SC to KIRKMAN BROADCASTING, INC. for $1.1 million. DANIELS is also selling Gospel WJNI (GOSPEL 106.3)/LADSON-CHARLESTON, SC to KIRKMAN for $1.4 million.
In other filings with the FCC, SALEM COMMUNICATIONS' SALEM MEDIA OF VIRGINIA, INC. is buying Talk WKDL-A/WARRENTON, VA (a simulcast of Talk WTNT-A/ALEXANDRIA-WASHINGTON) from METRO RADIO, INC. for $10,000. SALEM is acquiring the rights of CHRISTOPHER ROTH to buy the station.
FIRST BROADCASTING OF NEVADA, INC. is selling Spanish Adult Hits KXTO-A (RADIO EXITOS 1550)/RENO, NV to CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES OF THE VALLEY, INC. for $110,000.
Under investigation by the Commission for its move of the station to the MILWAUKEE antenna farm, RADIO POWER INC. has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator W250BN/WEST ALLIS, WI for resolution of an interference complaint by a listener whose reception of MERLIN Rock WLUP/CHICAGO was compromised.
PITTMAN BROADCASTING SERVICES, LLC has requested a Silent STA for WOMN-A/FRANKLINTON, LA due to a damaged transmitter.
MT. RUSHMORE BROADCASTING, INC. has asked for an extension of its Silent STA for KRAL-A/RAWLINS, WY due to staffing difficulties.
And YOUNGERS COLORADO BROADCASTING LLC has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for KPCR/FOWLER, CO while it waits for its application for a site change to be granted.
