Last month (NET NEWS 1/17), ALL ACCESS tipped you that SEAN (DIDDY) COMBS was reportedly launching a music and lifestyle cable network, that's rumored to be open for business by DECEMBER 2012. The channel will be named REVOLT, and was described "as the old days of MTV, but for more of the African-American audience.
Now it's official, as DIDDY announced YESTERDAY that he has partnered with cable provider COMCAST to launch the network.
"The network, named REVOLT," reports THE NEW YORK POST, "will be a 'platform for artists to reach an extraordinary number of people' through music videos, live performances and interviews, COMBS said in a press release. He developed the channel alongside former MTV programming chief ANDY SCHUON."
