Billy Strange Dead At 81

Condolences to the family and friends of BILLY STRANGE, an arranger, session guitarist and songwriter best known for his work on many hit records during the '60s and '70s, including a number of NANCY SINATRA's hits for REPRISE RECORDS and THE BEACH BOYS' Pet Sounds album.

STRANGE was born in 1930 in LONG BEACH, CA.

As a songwriter, STRANGE had success with CHUBBY CHECKER's "Limbo Rock" and ELVIS PRESLEY's "Memories." He was 81.
